Why We Fly Paramotors, Exploring the Lost Coast of California

Team BlackHawk: Explore America’s second adventure lead us to California’s lost coast. Our team of 4 pilots got to experience flying over terrain rarely seen by humans and learned what this sport was truly about. We had an opportunity to find new adventures and test the limits of our abilities. Now we are able to share the experience with you. If you want to join us, BlackHawk Paramotos is the largest US manufacture of Powered Paragliders and one of the largest paramotor school training nearly 100 students a year. If you have questions about the sport or would like start flying. Give us a call 209.481.0493 or Visit us at at ParaToys.com

Mate, your video is amazing. I dream? night and day of adventures like that one rather than flying around my field. Tell me, what wings are you using ? I have never seen such a design ?!

This is the freedom and excitement that I don’t quite? find, flying Pipers & Cessnas. I am seeking information from anyone on how to get involved? I live in Toronto, Canada.

You really touched on the beauty of our sport. Leonardo da Vinci hit it right on the nose. On days? where you can’t fly or the weather doesn’t cooperate, videos like this help make it more bearable. Please keep them coming.

  17. SunsetWingman says:

    Great video guys?

  18. eg1 says:

@fgap1 this is by far the most free form of flight. I’ve been in a lot of aircraft over the years and I still choose? the paramotor.

  19. eg1 says:

@1turkeyvulture We had water rescue systems so a water landing would have? been bad but survivable.

  20. rfaures says:

Beautiful pictures, first class editing. Just awesome. It made me nervous to watch you guys fly over the waves? and rocks :-)

  21. 1turkeyvulture says:

Motor out: Why we? don’t fly over un-landable terrain.

  22. fgap1 says:

I’m a GA pilot who wants out of “The System” (FAA). No license. No medical. No registration. No inspections. No “nothing”. Pure Ultralight Flying ; IMO, only available through Powered? Paragliding, is the ultimate “free flight” experience. The only limitation: a two page equipment and operational procedures requirement (FAR 103), and the individual’s acceptance of responsibility for adequate training and personal safety operational parameters. Bureaucracy free, and fun filled.

@sdsf56 Do a quick google search for “lost coast california” — the first hit you get? is some good info on Wikipedia. I can’t post a link here, but I hope that helps.
